Arch. Zamfir Hadjiyski is our correspondent at the exhibition in Milan. He graduated in architecture in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia and at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy. In 2003 he made 5-month specialization in lighting design at the Faculty of Design of the Polytechnic of Milan (Politecnico di Milano). He also established his own studio – Italstile, which in addition to dealing with design, is a direct importer of many Italian brands for lighting. He is an architect, lighting designer and a professor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia.

As I wrote in the previous article, we are showing pictures and news from the Milan exhibiton, sent by arch. Hadjiyski. Today we’ll show you some pictures from the Ingo Maurer’s stand, a leading laighting company, which, as arch. Hadjiyski pointed to me, is now oriented towards redisigning old models for LED lighting (as is the case with my favorite winged light Lucellino), as well as conceptually new things with the leading idea of creating a really flat lamp.

Noteworthy to mantion are the flat screen of OH Led;, the Look so flat lamp with its classic form of a simple table lamp in one dimension and surprisingly flat in the other (you can see for yourself on the picture below), as well as the New Flame which to me resemble computer boards.
